What’s more, lenders have increased their stress-testing based on the rental value of a property which means landlords are not able to borrow as much 💰

In some cases, the maximum loan size for property with a rental value of £1,000 a month has fallen by 12%*. A drop of 12% would see a loan size of £200,000 fall to just £176,000 - making it more difficult for landlords to achieve a good return on their investment.
